How to use Edwards Vacuum Pump Oil Ultragrade 15:

(1) The oil-filled window must be clean, and it is strictly forbidden to expose to the sun and store it in the open air. It must be stored in a dark, dry and ventilated place to prevent the mixing of water and dust.

(2) When taking oil or loading oil, the light rain around the barrel cover must be removed to prevent sundries from mixing into the oil and causing wear of the pump.

(3) Different brands and varieties of vacuum pump oil cannot be mixed, and old and new oils cannot be mixed.

(4) Strictly avoid mixing vacuum oil with other lubricating oils, let alone light oil, as it will affect the vacuum performance.

(5) The vacuum pump should try to avoid removing the solvent, water vapor and corrosive gas, etc. It must be checked frequently and the oil should be changed frequently when it must be used.

(6) When the oil is changed, the used oil in the pump body should be drained. After pouring in the new oil, slowly rotate the pump shaft, clean the pump cavity to drain the residual oil, repeat the cleaning several times, and replace the oil after cleaning. .

(7) When the pump is overhauled, all parts of the pump must be cleaned with solvent or cleaning agent and dried.

(8) Refueling appliances must be special equipment, and should not be containers that hold other oils or solvents; pumps.

(9) When mineral oil is exchanged with ester oil or other synthetic oil, the pump should be disassembled for thorough cleaning. Including all parts must be immersed in ester oil to prevent contamination.

(10) If the inhalation of chemical gas and solvent affects the vacuum of the pump oil, it must be cleaned and replaced.

(11) Oil change period: a. When the vacuum of the pump oil falls and cannot meet the needs; b. When the color of the pump oil becomes darker and brown, the oil should be changed.
