The Edwards RV pump has become the industry standard for primary pump science applications. RV pumps * feature the ability to provide high throughput or low throughput with high vacuum. The Edwards RV family of rotary vane pumps is based on over 75 years of experience and a new design program to produce a range of small oil seal rotary vane pumps. Edward vacuum pump RV3 features and advantages:

Gas valve: Dual position gas valve can handle 60 g/hr water vapor, or higher than the equivalent product 220 g/hr(290 g/hr on RV12) water vapor. Combined with oil return accessories and oil mist filters, the dual position gas ballast can be continuously drained without reducing lubrication. An optional solenoid operated gas valve is installed to automatically operate the gas valve.

Motor: A single general-purpose motor covers a wide range of voltages and frequencies. Single-phase motors have external switches that can be adjusted from high voltage range (220-240V) to low voltage range (110-120). Universal three-phase motors are also available for all models, and for special applications we offer pumps equipped with ATEX certified explosion-proof motors.

Entrance: First class anti - flow protection

· Stable control of the open state through oil pressure to eliminate pressure fluctuations

· Shut down quickly within 0.4 seconds of the pump stopping due to the dump valve

All Edwards RV pumps are equipped with inlet seals and integrated inlet screen filters

Vacuum pump oil: Edwards RV pump is initially equipped with Ultragrade No. 19 oil. Specially formulated through a range of unique additives, this premium oil provides vacuum performance superior to any other mineral oil. Because of this, it provides both highly controlled steam pressure and excellent oxidation resistance to achieve a long service life. For oxygen-rich applications, we also offer pumps equipped with PFPE. For pumps equipped with PFPE, Fomblin must be purchased separately.

Designed for easy maintenance:

· Uniform size hexagon wrench can remove all parts

· All parts are self-aligning, so no support or special components are required

· Polymer blades without springs or pins are easier to assemble and more reliable

· The shaft seal can be replaced at the motor side without removing the pump mechanism

· There are no EKOSAN circles in the section, which are easier to assemble

· All parts are interchangeable and can therefore be ordered separately

Mode SWITCH: Unique mode selector switch patented technology enables a single pump to be used for multiple purposes, so you only need one model for high-pumping and high-vacuum applications. In the high pumping mode, the selector switch increases the oil flow to the high vacuum phase, allowing the pump to operate continuously at high inlet pressures without any wear or loss of lubrication.
